BUCKINGHAM FRIENDS SCHOOL 5K RUN / WALK FOR PEACE – SEPTEMBER 25, 2010
WAIVER: I know that running in a foot race is a potentially
hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am
medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any
and all decisions of a race official relative to my ability to
safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with
running participants, the effects of weather, including high
heat and humidity or extreme cold, traffic and conditions of
the trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
In consideration of granting the undersigned permission,
having read this waiver, I, for myself and anyone entitled to
act on my behalf, waive, release and forever discharge
Racing Resources, Buckingham Friends School,
Buckingham Friends Meeting, Dave and Karen Thompson,
Peddler’s Village, their officers, directors, employees and
the owner and all sponsors, their representatives and
successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising
out of my participation in this event even if caused in whole
or in part by any negligence, strict liability, actions or
inactions of the Released Parties. As a licensee, I assume
the risk of all dangerous conditions on or about the
premises and waive notice of the existence of any such
conditions. I grant permission to all the foregoing groups to
use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or other
record of this event for any legitimate purpose, without
compensation. I understand that this is a trail race not
intended for baby joggers, headphones, skates,
rollerblades, and pets on leashes, and I will abide by
these guidelines.

The 5k course is a beautiful trail run through the hills and wooded campus of Buckingham Friends
School. Trail includes one small stream crossing. Everyone is welcome to walk or run– athletes,
amateurs, runners, walkers, adults, children and groups.
T-SHIRTS
Custom-designed souvenir t-shirts provided for all advance registrants. Youth and adult sizes,including women’s style tees.
AWARDS
Prizes for top three men and women overall, top team, and top three men and women in each age group: under 10, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 +.

Team Information
Form a team for the 5k run and save $5 on your entry fee. A Team is a group of 4 or more individuals. Team members
can consist of family, friends, co-workers, classmates, athletes or anyone else you can recruit. Team members can be any combination of runners, walkers and/or kids. Each team must have a Team Name. Team members can register
for the 5k at the reduced rate of $20 per person for pre-registration only.
Team Registration
Team members must register individually indicating they are members of the team. Team members register at a
reduced fee of $20 if registered by September 22nd.
Note: If you sign up at the reduced rate and your team has less than 4 people registered by September 22nd then you
will need to pay the additional $5 for registration at check-in.
Team Scoring
Team award to the top team. Team winner is determined by fastest four team members.
